1. INFORMAZIONI GENERALI

Il template che avete sottomano l’ho costruito per esigenze strettamente personali, per cui presenta alcuni aspetti anomali e diversamente dal solito non è molto customizzabile.
Presenta diverse restrizioni:
- La dimensione in larghezza deve essere fissa, a causa del logo e del footer che non si possono estendere.
- Il logo.gif contiene la scritta Bastardworkshop.com. Se volete cambiarla inserendo il titolo del vostro sito, potete seguire le istruzioni annesse. elencate al paragrafo 3 (SUGGERIMENTI)
- Per la resa migliore, è opportuno che nei credits del vostro portale (quelli visibili nel footer “Powered by Mkportal etc..”) rimuoviate l’immagine del loghino.gif (peraltro presente già di default nella skin Bastardworkshop, un pò più a lato…).

I procedimenti per effettuare tutte queste operazioni, potete leggerli nel paragrafo 3 (SUGGERIMENTI).

NB: questo template è adatto per versioni di MkPortal dalla M07 alla M1.1.2b.
per adattarlo a MkPortal C seguire le istruzioni contenute nel sito ufficiale di mkportal http://www.mkportal.it/support/showpost.php?p=133204&postcount=2

Non c’è molto altro da dire, buon divertimento con questo template e per favore, non rimuovete i copyrights.

2. INSTALLAZIONE

Per installare questo template su MkPortal, basta semplicemente effettuare l’upload della cartella /bas_bastardworkshop_v3.11 e di tutto il suo contenuto, nella cartella “templates” di MkPortal (es: ftp.tuosito.com/mkportal/templates/ )

Dopodichè accedi all’Admin Control Panel del portale col tuo browser; nelle Preferenze seleziona questo template e clicca su “Salva”.

Installazione completata.

3. TIPS AND SUGGESTIONS

a) Settare la larghezza fissa del portale:
Come già detto, a causa del logo e del footer, se volete installare questa skin e vederla in maniera decorosa, dovete settare le dimensioni del portale fisse e uguali a 990 px.
Dopo aver installato la skin, andate quindi nel CPA Admin, e selezionate fixed width al posto di “All Page” width, specificando poi una larghezza di 990 px.

b) Cambiare il logo Bastardworkshop.com.
Potete farlo agendo sull’immagine logo.png, (se usate fireworks) oppure sull’immagine logo_base.png contenute nella cartella images/ del vostro template.
Nel pacchetto della skin è contenuto anche il font usato x la scritta Bastardworkshop (chiamato “Bridgnort”).
Se non lo avete sul vostro pc, vi basterà installarlo e poi potrete usarlo col vostro programma di editing di immagini per modificare la scritta.
Inoltre, installandolo, potrete vedere i titoli dei blocchi dei menu nel font Bridgnort e non nel font Verdana di default.

c) Rimuovere il loghino dai credits:
Questa procedura non viola il copyright di mkportal, sia perchè come gia detto, il loghino è già presente inglobato nel footer.gif, sia perchè è consentito rimuovere l’immagine loghino.gif (potete verificarlo a questo url http://www.mkportal.it/mkportal/modules/mediawiki/index.php/It:Introduzione_a_MKPortal:Copyright ).
1- aprire il file mkportal/include/functions.php
2- cercare il codice

dovreste trovarlo intorno alla riga 267
3- sostituirlo con

4- cercare il codice

lo trovate subito sotto
5- sostituirlo con

6- salvare il file
7- sostituire il file sul vostro spazio web

4. COPYRIGHTS E LICENZA

Questo template è pubblicato e distribuito liberamente per il vostro divertimento.
Per la siua realizzazione e distribuzione non è stato da me richiesto alcun tipo di pagamento ed ovviamente è proibito rivenderlo ad altre persone.
Puoi modificare questo template per adeguarsi alle tue esigenze, ma per favore non rimuovere i copyrights miei e della blizzard entertainment.

1. GENERAL INFORMATIONS

this files are intended to be used with MKPortal BW_WoW_mkportal_skin template that you can find for free download on my site and with phpbb WoWMoonclaw01 template that you can find at phpBB official site (http://www.phpbb.com/);

The purpose of this little modification, is to best fit the forum skin, with mkportal, choosing the “view inside portal” forum view, on your portal admin panel;
The files that i have changed are three:
overall_footer.tpl
overall_header.tpl
WoWMoonclaw01.css

with this three new files to substitute to WoWMoonclaw01 template original ones, you obtain:
-removal of forum WoW logo
-addition of borders and titlebar to the forum display inside MkPortal, just as the forum is a block as the other MKPortal modules.

changes inside theese files are clearly commented

No more to say, have fun with this template

2. INSTALLATION

To install this modification, you have to do some steps:

1- with your favourite text editor, do this operations:

OPEN overall_header.tpl

SEARCH http://www.yoursite.com/

REPLACE WITH the url of your site

NB: in this file, there are 5 entryes to change

SAVE and CLOSE file

OPEN overall_footer.tpl

SEARCH http://www.yoursite.com/

REAPLACE WITH the url of your site

NB: in this file, there are 6 entryes to change

SAVE and CLOSE file

2- Upload the three files (overall_header.tpl overall_footer.tpl WoWMoonclaw01.css) to your forum WoWMoonclaw01 template directory (es: ftp.yoursite.com/yourforumdir/templates/WoWMoonclaw01/)

1. GENERAL INFORMATIONS

This Template was commissioned to me by a friend running a site about World of Warcraft;
I work on it for about two days to optimize all the graphics.
Luckily, the basic graphics, were taken from a program called
NAM BC Site (Not Another MaNGOS Burning Crusade Site), Based on WFE Project rev 1.93 and Developped by e-Zobar (www.ultimate-revolution.c.la) and using www.worldofwacraft.com pictures.

Associated to this MkPortal Template, there is a phpBB forum Template called “WowMoonclaw01″ developed by Moonclaw wich includes English, French, German and Spanish buttons that fits perfectly with this MkPortal Template. You can find this phpBB template on phpBB official site (http://www.phpbb.com/).

For best fitting with my template i have made some changes to phpBB template, that you can find and download from my site, including:
-removal of forum WoW logo
-addition of borders and titlebar to the forum display inside MkPortal

No more to say, have fun with this template and please don’t remove copyrights ^^

2. INSTALLATION

To install this Template inside MKPortal, simply upload the folder /Bw_WoW_mkportal_skin and all its content, to your MKPortal templates directory (es: ftp.yoursite.com/mkportal/templates/ )

Then navigate with your browser to the Admin Control Panel of your portal, and in Preferences, choose this template, and click on “Save”

Just done

N.B: To have a better effect on the look of your portal, my suggestion is to select precise dimension to your portal width, instead of having your portal settled to “All Page” width; this setting lets people visiting your portal, see the purple background besides the portal column..

Another suggestion, is about the portal logo; you can change that logo, with another image of your choice, in three simple steps:
1- remove the file mkportal/templates/Bw_WoW_mkportal_skin/images/expansion-upgrade2.jpg,
2- take the image that you want to put as the new logo and rename it expansion-upgrade2.jpg
3- upload your new logo in the folder mkportal/templates/Bw_WoW_mkportal_skin/images/
